Gilmore Bankers Pitch In To Help Mudslide Victims Dig Out —
Doug Spencer, president and CEO of Gilmore Bank, along with Sheila Cook, senior vice president and regional manager of the bank's La Canada office, were just two of the Southern California volunteers who came out to help mudslide victims Saturday, February 13. Cleaning mud from homes and helping victims salvage their belongings was the task at hand. Doug and Sheila were joined in their efforts by friend and Gilmore customer, Sandy Williams. One of the many La Canada mudslide victims is Pat Anderson, president of the La Canada Chamber of Commerce. Sheila Cook, an active chamber member, has been part of a long term effort to take food supplied by local restaurants to the many volunteers and victims. Our prayers go out to Pat and all the La Canada families devastated by this terrible disaster.
